Download: A combined LPR/GPS enables implementing seamless position detection of vehicles in a storage environment where visual contact to a sufficient number of LPR transponders (3 minimum) or GPS satellites (3 near horizontal satellites minimum) cannot be guaranteed at all times. |

Download: In storage areas such as narrow alleyways where no visual contact with LPR transponders or GPS satellites is possible, an absolute position value is calculated for the respective vehicle with the help of a combined LPR/GPS station. On this basis, the measurements of the Symeo absolute sensors (LPR, GPS) are complemented by measurements of Symeo incremental sensors (laser, inertial sensors, vehicle sensors) with the help of software. This enables accurate position detection even in areas that are completely shadowed from the LPR and GPS signals. |

Download: The Symeo 1DXi module integrates an antenna and analysing electronics in a casing sized no more than 7.5 × 7.5 × 3.2 in. |
![]() |
Download: Thanks to their radio technology, Symeo LPR-1DXi modules can operate smoothly in both outdoor and indoor areas and – unlike laser or ultrasonic modules – will not be functionally impacted by soiled reflectors, steam, poor visibility, or wind. |
